Simplified Philly Cheese-Steak Sandwich
This is NOT the authentic version of Philly Cheese steak sandwich. I'm just using readily available ingredients. In hindsight, considering how fiber-less this dish is, I should have used whole-wheat bread instead...

    Cut into thin rings, then split ring in half.

    Thin slices. I just use hotpot beef slices for convenience.

步驟
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Heat pan on medium low fire and HALF cook the beef. Do not cook to well done.

    Remove beef from pan and set aside once half cooked.
  • Using the same pan, use the beef grease to pan fry the onions.

    Add sugar.

    Sear until onion turns see-through light brown.

    Turn off fire.

    Put beef in pan, mix together with onion.
  • Put one slice of cheese on bread.

    Put beef+onion mixture on bread liberally.

    Put another slice of cheese on beef.
  • Put in oven, bake for 10 minutes. Done!
