烤肥牛包冬瓜 Simplified version
I LOVE beef. This dish is really easy for me to prepare. I just throw this in oven for 20 minutes, take a shower, come back and my dinner is ready! Perfect for late night snack/dinner when I return home late.

    I just use a pack of 火鍋肥牛片. Bought from Dai Cheung, 35 dollars for a huge pack! I only used up half pack in the end.

步驟
  • Make a small tin foil tray around 15CMx20CM.
  • Cut winter melon into small cubes of 2CM x 3CM x 3CM.

    Put pieces into boiling water for 5 minutes only. Do not over boil or else it will lose its form.

    Take out pieces and rest it on a plate. Let it cool.
  • Open a pack of 火鍋肥牛片.
    If the pieces are stuck together, thaw it first before handling. We would want to keep each 肥牛片 as intact as possible.
  • Wrap winter melon pieces with 肥牛片. Wrap it any way you like, as thick as you like. (Within reason, of course)
  • (Optional: Glaze each piece's top with oil to make it the final product look juicer)

    Add a pinch of salt and black pepper on each piece.
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
    Bake pieces for 20 minutes.

    (Optional: While baking, chop spring onion horizontally into very fine ring shapes.)
  • (Optional: Add some finely diced spring onion on each piece)

    Done, enjoy! :)
